On the illustrious campus that is the University of Houston, there are many places to go to where you can get yourself a good cup of coffee.
But without a doubt the best place to go and grab a cup of joe, while also hanging with your friends, is the infamous Cougar Grounds.
Established in 2008, Cougar Grounds is often cited by many UH students as the best place to get coffee on campus. This is due to having so many stellar and quality items on the menu to help students get some early juice in the morning.

In addition to being a great coffee area, students often come here to hang out and study. . In doing so, they get the chance to take their minds off things like classes and work and get to relax a bit.
This was said as much by regular patron Alfredo Himenas when asked why he prefers Cougar Grounds to other coffee places on campus:
In addition to being a great place to relax it is also a great place to catch up on some studying.
Cougar Grounds is one of the most popular spots on campus where you will see students studying for important exams or just doing some homework that they have forgotten to do, all while sipping on some magnificent coffee.

And in doing so, students have found a great place to hang out with each other and find solidarity with each other while discussing what is going on in their lives at the moment.
While it may not be as popular as Starbucks or McDonalds in the student center, there is no doubt that Cougar Grounds has proven itself to be a coffee place that deserves to be a hangout as much as other coffee places on campus:

So if you want to find a place to grab a great cup of coffee and hang out or study with friends, the Cougar Grounds is the obvious place to choose!
