UH Farmers Market

by Luis Gonzalez

While studying at the University of Houston (UH), students can escape studying or the real world by going to their favorite spot in the city to relax and vibe with themselves or with others. For me, as someone whose schedule consists mostly on campus, my favorite spot is the UH Farmers Market.

Discover UH’s Farmers Market, a monthly event where local farmers and sellers bring their businesses here and offer a wide range of merchandise. From food, crops, art, clothing, jewelry, beauty, home, and artisan crafts, it's a great time without leaving campus to shop.

Compared to large businesses, the vendors create their products by hand, with less ingredients, and some with their own unique ways of making items. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to support them and follow them online.
